BCR2000 as Mackie emu with 'level meters' v0.1

Here's a short video clip how it looks currently

Instructions

In this setup I 'abuse' the 8 bottom enconders as level meters when using the BCR2000 in Mackie emulation mode
with my DAW (Reaper)
I have decided for the bottom 8 encoders because for most Mackie presets I know they're not used,
but you're free to use any encoders you want of course.
The level meters always follow the eight tracks you're currently controlling with the BCR, ie they follow bank changes.

Program the bottom 8 encoders as shown in the BCR_settings.png (I use BC manager for that)

Load the Midi-Ox map.oxm file in the Midi-Ox translation map.
Make sure you've chosen the correct Midi input and output in Midi-Ox (see below)

What is does is remapping the aftertouch messages (the level meter code) which are sent out all on Midi channel 1 to
different Midi channels which can than be displayed on the BCR (if you've re-programmed you're encoders as said above)

Then make a virtual connection (using eg MidiYoke) as follows

BCR out -> your DAW (the usual stuff)
your DAW out (usually this is set up in control surface settings) -> MidiYoke -> HuskerVu(*) (if you use that)
-> MidiYoke -> Midi-Ox -> MidiYoke -> BCR in

Disclaimer:
I have only tested this with Reaper, but I guess it should work with any DAW that that supports the MCU and has the
level meters protocol implemented.

Have fun !

(*) a good alternative to HuskerVu I find Midi tools from Mountain utilities which also includes a
Mackie display emulation.
